Hire a licensed fire safety system designer and an installer with the appropriate QBCC or Plumbing Industry Council licence.
Ensure any street hydrant used for your design is suitable and that you have permission to use it.
Engage a qualified person to perform the flow and pressure testing and to commission the system. This includes obtaining Form 72.
Provide the completed Form 72 and all other required documentation to the building certifier as part of the certification process.
The building owner is responsible for ensuring the system is regularly inspected and maintained by a qualified professional.
